Curriculum

Dr. Montessori wrote, “The most important period of life is not the age of University studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man’s intelligence itself, his greatest implement is being formed. At no other age has the child greater need of an intelligent help, and any obstacle that impedes his creative work will lessen the chance he has of achieving perfection.”

Classroom Curriculum

Little Stars (ages 2 mos – 3 years)

Our infant-toddler program focuses on sensory experiences, self-help skills, language development, gross and fine motor skills, social and emotional growth.

Rising Stars (ages 3 – 6 years)

Our preschool program allows the child to explore and experience learning through five specific areas: The (1) Practical Life area teaches the child to care for himself and his environment. The (2) Sensorial area assists in refining his senses through specific teaching materials. He then moves into utilizing early (3) Mathematics and(4) Language teaching tools. The (5) Culture area includes cultural awareness, geography, biology, botany, zoology, history, art, music and creative movement.

VPK stands for the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program. If you live in Florida, and your child turns 4 four years of age by September 1, your child is eligible to participate in Florida’s FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) education program.

Super Stars (ages 6 – 12 years)

Our elementary-level curriculum builds upon learning in the above five learning areas and further expands into geometry, zoology, and foreign language. The children work at their own pace in a non-competitive atmosphere. We help them understand the concepts and master the skills they need to pursue knowledge on their own.
